Introduction
This course is based on a case study from Madagascar. The first chapter will allow you to get a picture of the principals of Conservation Agriculture and to understand what constrains there can be in implement the methods in a sub-Saharan context. The second chapter presents the case study and will give you an explanation why the farmers did not apply CA methods in the extent that the project owner had expected. In the last part you will have the opportunity to discuss extension processes.
